· When we gathered and sang songs for God,
I felt that we were full of LOVE!

Q. Why would you like to support Tejas Asia?

Blog

Have you ever struggled
to manage your finances?
What God is saying about money in Bible?

Based on Dave Ramsey’s
“Total Money Makeover”,
Ps. Joshua O’Sullivan presented
7 key steps for Financial Freedom
with Godly wisdom!
We hope these tips will be a help for you!

Matthew 25:23 (NIV)
23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

God wants to give you a freedom that
allows you to give others generously!
As a first step,
He wants us manage well
what we already have.

STEP 1. Get A Plan For Your Money
(Average timeline-1week)

Lets make a Zero-based budgeting!

Sample Budget (Let’s try to figure out your plan! The percentage is an exemple!)

Other Income ___________
## TOTAL INCOME (100%) ______ ##

Tithes (10%) ___________
Investing (15%) ___________
Savings (5%) ___________
Kids College (5%) ____________
Extra Giving (5%) ____________
## TOTAL OVERFLOW (40%) ______ ##

Housing (25%) ___________

Food (10%) ___________
## TOTAL NEEDS (45%) _____ ##

Eating Out (2.5%) ___________
Misc (2.5%) ___________
## TOTAL WANTS (5%) ______ ##

Life Insurance (2.5%) ___________
Health Insurance (5%) ___________
Pension (2.5%) ___________
## TOTAL INSURANCE (10%) _____ ##

INCOME

– WANTS
– INSURANCE
= 0

A budget is telling your money
where to go, not wondering
where it went! -John Maxwell

STEP 2. Save a Beginner Emergency Fund
(Average timeline-One month)

Keep 100,000yen away for Unexpected things not going into the monthly budget
(Injury, mobile phone broke,etc.)

STEP 3. Get Out of Debt –

When you are in this step,
you should be loyal to return debts. Stop eating out,

Lifehouse Sapporo’s 7th Anniversary!

Blog

Hi everyone!

We had 7th anniversary service on
September 30th!

Ps. Joshua O’Sullivan
from Lifehouse Yokohama came to celebrate with us!
What a great day!

We are really grateful
for every person we have met
over the past 7years!
Thank YOU!

「Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.」Psalm 84:5-6 NIV

God has prepared for you a life
that is not like a roller coaster.
He doesn’t take you up and down
only to return to the same place again.

Tell God about your weakness!
When God gives his strength to you,
you can live strongly
in a life God has prepared for you!

Sun May 5th 2018 Message
By Ps Johannes Berns
Original Message Notes by Lifehouse Tokyo Ps Rod Plummer April 15 2018

We Are Called!!!

(Ephesians 1:3-4 NKJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, (4) just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

My calling
(Isaiah 42:6 NKJV) I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,
(called – OT – 800 times and NT – 225 times)

1.God chooses to choose people
a. A King: David’s story:
(1 Samuel 16:6-13 Voice) When they came, he noticed the eldest son, Eliab.
Samuel (to himself): Surely this is the one the Eternal One will anoint. Eternal One (to Samuel): (7) Take no notice of his looks or his height. He is not the one, for the Eternal One does not pay attention to what humans value. Humans only care about the external appearance, but the Eternal considers the inner character. (8) Jesse called his son Abinadab and brought him to Samuel. Samuel looked at him. Samuel: The Eternal has not chosen him either. (9) Then Jesse brought his son Shammah in front of Samuel. Samuel: The Eternal has not chosen him either. (10) Jesse walked seven of his sons in front of Samuel, and each time, Samuel refused them because the Eternal One had chosen none of them. Samuel (to Jesse): (11) Are all your sons here?
Jesse: All but the youngest. He is off keeping the sheep. Samuel: Send for him, and bring him here. We will not sit down until he arrives. (12) Jesse sent for the youngest son, David, and he came in front of Samuel. He was a handsome boy, with a healthy complexion and bright eyes. Eternal One: Rise and anoint him, because this is the one. (13) Then Samuel took the horn filled with olive oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and the Spirit of the Eternal fell strongly on David and remained from that day on. Samuel then left for Ramah.

b. A skilled artist: Bezalel’s story
(Exodus 31:1-5 Voice) Eternal One: (2) Look, I have a special calling upon one of the sons of Judah. His name is Bezalel (the son of Uri, son of Hur). (3) I have filled him with God’s Spirit, gifted him with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skills with a variety of crafts. (4) He is an expert designer and works well with gold, silver, and bronze. (5) He is able to cut and set gems, work with wood, and skillfully perform any craft needed to help construct the congregation tent and its furnishings.

(Luke 6:13 NKJV) And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:

(John 15:16 NIV) You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
(1 Corinthians 1:26-31 NET) Think about the circumstances of your call, brothers and sisters. Not many were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were born to a privileged position. (27) But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong. (28) God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, (29) so that no one can boast in his presence. (30) He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, (31) so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

2.Q&A: Why does God choose??? …He is God, that’s why!
(Romans 9:15-16 NIV) For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” (16) It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.
(Romans 9:20-21 NIV) But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’” (21) Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

3.What should we do?
(Romans 12:1-2 NIV) Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (2) Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

-Say yes to God’s call
-Change your thinking
-Know his Will and do it
