U’s Breakthrough!

Is something bothering you for long time?
We believe God will breakthrough your struggles!
This time U shared his breakthrough experience!

Q1. What breakthrough did you experience?
I experienced a financial breakthrough!
I’ve been going to India for volunteering in recent years; God has been helping me financially every year!

Q2. What exactly happened regarding your breakthrough?
The first year, I found an envelope with money in my bag one day.
I thought someone accidentally put it in my bag, but there was a message that read “for you to go to India!
I asked Mr.A and Ms.B but they said “it’s not me”.
Anyway, with that support I had enough money and could go to India.

For the second year, I got registered mail containing cash. There was a message from the
credit card company which said: “We received too much money so we’re returning it.”
Moreover, payday at my workplace changed one month before I left for India.
So I got paid twice in one month. I could, once again, go to India with enough money.

This year I made enough money and arranged holiday time through my own efforts, so I
couldn’t see many miracles compared to previous years.

Q3.That’s great! Do you have anything you would like to do in the future?

I learned God is faithful.
When we pray and ask He answers. If we dont ask, we can’t get
answers. So I would like to trust God more, even in financial areas!

I also hope more people will join in supporting Tejas in India!
Lets go to India again next year!

Ai’s Breakthrough!

“Breakthrough” has been our annual theme at LifehouseChurch for 2018!

We believe God will help us breakthrough our struggles!

Ai, a member from our church, shared one of her breakthroughs with us!

Q1. What was a problem you had?

I was struggling with relationships.

I grew up in broken family, and I was mess regarding all relationships with family, friends and myself. My heart was always heavy, filled with worries and anxieties.

Q2. How did your breakthrough come about?

When I was a first year student in junior college, one of my friends invited me to an international party that was organized by Lifehouse Sapporo. I really enjoyed the party. During the party I met a girl, she told me: “My relationships with my family got better after I started going to Church. So, for the first time in my life, I went to Church.

Q3. How was your first Church experience?

I experienced amazing peace and hope that I’ve never feltbefore. When I heard the message saying “God made you, He loves you” I raised my hands and prayed “I want to believeI was moved to tears during the prayer – it was an unforgettable moment

Q4. What makes you keep coming to Church?

I keep coming, because I can see how much I’ve changed through Church, and the change is continuous. God is healing me, giving me an upright heart and real joy. I really appreciatethat I can have such a relationship with God!

Q5. What would you like to do from here on?

Now God has given me the role to organize Church events!

I would like to create opportunities for people like I had;because my life changed due to one invitation. I’m expecting Sapporo’s people to meet Jesus and receive a life filled with love and joy!

God is preparing Breakthrough for you!

Let’s expect for 2019!😍❤️

We Are Called!!!

Sun May 5th 2018 Message
By Ps Johannes Berns
Original Message Notes by Lifehouse Tokyo Ps Rod Plummer April 15 2018

We Are Called!!!

(Ephesians 1:3-4 NKJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, (4) just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

My calling
(Isaiah 42:6 NKJV) I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,
(called – OT – 800 times and NT – 225 times)

1.God chooses to choose people
a. A King: David’s story:
(1 Samuel 16:6-13 Voice) When they came, he noticed the eldest son, Eliab.
Samuel (to himself): Surely this is the one the Eternal One will anoint. Eternal One (to Samuel): (7) Take no notice of his looks or his height. He is not the one, for the Eternal One does not pay attention to what humans value. Humans only care about the external appearance, but the Eternal considers the inner character. (8) Jesse called his son Abinadab and brought him to Samuel. Samuel looked at him. Samuel: The Eternal has not chosen him either. (9) Then Jesse brought his son Shammah in front of Samuel. Samuel: The Eternal has not chosen him either. (10) Jesse walked seven of his sons in front of Samuel, and each time, Samuel refused them because the Eternal One had chosen none of them. Samuel (to Jesse): (11) Are all your sons here?
Jesse: All but the youngest. He is off keeping the sheep. Samuel: Send for him, and bring him here. We will not sit down until he arrives. (12) Jesse sent for the youngest son, David, and he came in front of Samuel. He was a handsome boy, with a healthy complexion and bright eyes. Eternal One: Rise and anoint him, because this is the one. (13) Then Samuel took the horn filled with olive oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and the Spirit of the Eternal fell strongly on David and remained from that day on. Samuel then left for Ramah.

b. A skilled artist: Bezalel’s story
(Exodus 31:1-5 Voice) Eternal One: (2) Look, I have a special calling upon one of the sons of Judah. His name is Bezalel (the son of Uri, son of Hur). (3) I have filled him with God’s Spirit, gifted him with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skills with a variety of crafts. (4) He is an expert designer and works well with gold, silver, and bronze. (5) He is able to cut and set gems, work with wood, and skillfully perform any craft needed to help construct the congregation tent and its furnishings.

(Luke 6:13 NKJV) And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles:

(John 15:16 NIV) You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
(1 Corinthians 1:26-31 NET) Think about the circumstances of your call, brothers and sisters. Not many were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were born to a privileged position. (27) But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong. (28) God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, (29) so that no one can boast in his presence. (30) He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, (31) so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

2.Q&A: Why does God choose??? …He is God, that’s why!
(Romans 9:15-16 NIV) For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” (16) It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.
(Romans 9:20-21 NIV) But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’” (21) Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

3.What should we do?
(Romans 12:1-2 NIV) Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (2) Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

-Say yes to God’s call
-Change your thinking
-Know his Will and do it

Easter Service!

April 1st was our Easter Service !

Jesus was/is not only a good person but he beat death! That’s why we celebrate this day! It’s a bigger celebration than Christmas for us!

Thank you all for bringing snacks and for those who helped them finish them too! haha

The message title was “Jesus! Lord over sin!”

In life we miss the target many times. We hurt others intentionally or unintentionally , hurt ourselves and even make mistakes. That is all called sin, and it hold us back from good.

Jesus took our sin to the cross, died and resurrected ! He is stronger than ANY sin!

Easter celebrates that he took away our sin and brought victory to us!

We have church every Sunday!
Can’t wait to see you join us!
